The family-run Annemarie Guesthouse is located in a quiet area, yet right in the heart of Reit im Winkl. We offer two single rooms and four vacation apartments, which can also be booked together. All accommodations feature a balcony with a view. On our terrace and the large sunbathing lawn, you’ll find time to relax and unwind. A bus stop, cross-country ski trails, and hiking trails are all within walking distance. This makes our guesthouse a popular starting point for outdoor activities. A covered parking area (carport) is available for our vacation apartments, with one parking space per unit. Restaurants, cafes, and shopping options are right nearby. Your benefit as our guest: We are a partner property of the Reit im Winkl Swim Card program. This gives you the opportunity to enjoy additional free benefits in addition to our own services, such as free admission to the Reit im Winkl outdoor pool, the Kössen forest swimming pool, as well as the eastern shore and the lakeside promenade at Walchsee. Reit im Winkl: A Climatic Health Resort According to Wikipedia, the designation “climatic health resort” is awarded to “locations whose air and climate, according to an expert assessment, possess qualities that are beneficial for relaxation and health.” Reit im Winkl was designated a health resort in 1956 and has consistently met the criteria for this designation ever since through its ongoing efforts. One key factor is its elevation, which ensures that summer heat is moderated and nights remain pleasantly cool. The town is surrounded by extensive mountain forests of the Chiemgau Alps and, in terms of its general climate, belongs to the “Bavarian Alps” climate region. The character of the weather is decisively determined by the local conditions—that is, by the influence of the mountain ranges and valleys on weather patterns. In addition to the natural conditions that ensure good air quality, we actively work to preserve the fresh mountain air by utilizing natural heat and providing ample bus service.
Our inn is a family-run business. After completing my training as a hotel manager, I worked at the local tourist information office.
