The back fence gate was down. It had black bugs in the refrigerator grass need to be cut bar chairs legs kept coming off and on the table one of the chair legs was broken

Beware of bait and switch! No hot tub, no notice, no compensation! Document everything upon arrival.

Location was great.

The amenities advertised were not provided: Upon my arrival, I found only 6 towels for 8 adults for 8 nights (Dec. 24 to Jan.1), an overflowing trash bin, cigarette butts on the back porch, and no glass cleaner. Later, we found slime on the bottoms of the shower curtains because they are too long to dry properly and crud on the agitator in the washer (had to wash towels every day since we never got any more than the original 6). Worst of all, when I asked about the hot tub specified in the original listing title and amenities, I was told it was not working. I was not properly notified, and when I asked for a discount and a partial refund, I was told to compare the reissued check-in instructions (dated Dec. 21) where the reference to the hot tub had been removed, to the original sent in early October when I booked. This change was made 10 days after payment had been processed with no refund, and only 3 days prior to check-in, but with no specific mention that the hot tub I paid for in good faith wasn't available. None of the issues reported were resolved during our stay. Apparently it is on me to make sure the terms aren't changed after the deal is closed. I did discover several other safety, security and maintenance issues (e.g. front door knob and garage door bracket loose) which I reported in the hopes the next guest will have a better experience. It seemed as if my reservation had been forgotten and no one actually monitors this property.
