We had an absolutely wonderful four-night stay at Marie’s apartment in Bergerac! Marie is an incredible host: exceptionally kind, friendly, thoughtful and accommodating. From the very beginning, she went above and beyond to make our first family trip with our 10-month-old baby truly special. She kindly arranged everything we needed for our little one, (a baby cot, high chair and bathtub, and even surprised us with some lovely baby books!) She was always responsive and helpful, and her kindness in allowing us a late check-out was greatly appreciated, as it gave us extra time to get ready with our baby before heading to the airport. We couldn’t have asked for a better host! The apartment is beautiful, exceptionally clean, spacious and fully equipped with everything you need, including a well-equipped kitchen, a lovely bathroom, a cosy lounge and a comfortable bedroom with a fantastic bed. Its location is perfect, right in the town centre overlooking the river, making it an ideal base for exploring Bergerac and the surrounding Dordogne region. A huge bonus is the private parking! Having our own allocated space in a secure courtyard right beneath the apartment made everything so convenient, especially when travelling with a baby and exploring the nearby villages by car. Everything was perfect, from the comfort and cleanliness of the apartment to its fantastic location and excellent facilities. Most importantly, Marie’s warmth and attention to detail made us feel genuinely welcome and looked after throughout our stay. We are incredibly grateful to Marie for making our first little family holiday such a lovely and memorable experience. We have visited Bergerac before, but we will definitely be back, and we would absolutely love to stay at Marie’s apartment again! Highly recommended to anyone visiting Bergerac, especially families with young children. Thank you so much, Marie, for your exceptional hospitality and kindness.
