No airconditioning

Spacious and light rooms. Quiet rural area.

No airconditioning in the living areas makes this place unsuitable for a -hot- summer stay. Only the main bed room has an old warn mobile airco, insufficient to cool the room. The house needs a serious upgrade in cooling and ventilation. The garden needs green fingers and general maintenance, the entry through the garden is not easily accessible for guests with luggage. The many steps and stairs make the house unfit for elderly or guests with disabilities.

Hidden gem

Massive, spacious house, pond with frogs, big outdoor and indoor dining tables, huge electrically adjustable beds, AC in master bedroom, super high quality furniture throughout, great vibe and taste, amazing hosts. Proper hidden gem, 10/10 big time. Keep it up guys!

Teleurstellende ervaring

De accomodatie ligt in een rustige omgeving en in de buurt is er vanalles te ondernemen. Het huis is ontzettend ruim, zeker als je maar met 2 personen bent. Helaas waren dit wel zo'n beetje de positieve punten...

De eigenaar zou ons bij aankomst ontmoeten (volgens Booking), maar helaas was er niemand zodra we waren gearriveerd op het aangegeven tijdstip en stonden we voor een gesloten poort. Het telefoonnummer wat bekend is bij Booking is niet in gebruik, dus ik heb via de chatfunctie contact gezocht. Gelukkig hadden we uiteindelijk zelf gevonden hoe we binnen konden komen, aangezien de eigenaar pas 3 uur later reageerde op de berichten. Dit waren er ondertussen al meer geworden, omdat we niet in konden loggen op het wifi netwerk (fout wachtwoord). Het bericht over het inchecken wat niet verliep zoals verwacht, daar werd niet eens op gereageerd. Daarna hebben we nog enkele berichtjes gewisseld, omdat het wifi netwerk ronduit slecht was. De verbinding viel steeds weg (meerdere keren per minuut, soms was het zelfs even niet mogelijk om te verbinden) en het bereik op de slaapkamer was heel slecht of zelfs helemaal niet. Helaas kon de eigenaar niks doen behalve de router resetten (wat niet echt hielp) en daarna werd er niet meer gereageerd toen ik liet weten dat het probleem nog niet was opgelost. Gebruik maken van de wifi was dus echt een drama tijdens het verblijf, je kon nog niet eens even opzoeken welke restaurants er in de buurt zaten. Overigens hebben we de eigenaar zelf tijdens ons verblijf (6 nachten) niet gezien. Er lag ook nergens informatie over het huisje, zoals afvalscheiding, huisregels of hoe je contact op kon nemen met de eigenaar. Bij aankomst troffen we de vaatwasser nog vol aan, deze hebben we zelf dus maar uitgeruimd. En helaas was ook niet alles schoon geworden, er zaten zelfs een paar heel vieze dingen in die te vies waren om met de hand af te wassen. Deze hebben we maar even aan de kant gelegd. De keuken leek heel fijn met voldoende apparaten, maar helaas waren deze ook niet schoon. In de airfryer en combimagnetron zaten nog (veel) etensresten van de vorige bewoners. De koelkast was helaas ook niet echt schoon te noemen.

Sehr großzügige Wohnfläche, hochwertig ausgestattet, ruhige Lage

Für uns kein Problem, aber ggf. bei Gehbehinderung zu beachten: selbst auf der gleichen Etage sind die einzelnen Wohnbereich (z.b. Küche zu Essbereich zu Wohnbereich) oft über mehrere Stufen miteinander verbunden.
