Lovely property, great host and helpful neighbours.

Loved the property. Very well equipped. Great views and very helpful neighbours. Be aware that it is not practical to try to park a car at the property. You would need to park on the main street, approximately a 5-minute walk away. (It's a good way to meet the neighbours!)

Be aware that the house is built into the rock face, so there are steps to the property. Take care with small children.

Wonderful house and a beautiful town

The house is newly renovated and it was clear a lot of effort and pride went into making it look beautiful. It was exactly like the pictures. The house has everything you could need for a stay: dishwasher, washing machine, all the utensils and cookware you could want, clothes storage, and a fabulous roof terrace. The only thing missing downstairs was air-conditioning - an electric fan probably would suffice for much of the year. The roof terrace was, again, well thought out, comfortable, and had comfortable furniture. What the pictures of the roof terrace don't show is the big parasol. This was another great touch and much needed when the sun is high. There is no parking directly outside, but that was not a problem. There was street parking available a few hundred metres away. The property manager, Alex, was excellent and professional. From the very beginning he was attentive and clear with his instructions. He even thought of us to tell us about a festival that was happening in the town during our stay. We could not fault him, he was friendly and thorough and worked to help us out with whatever we needed.

The one downside (this really was the only one) of our stay was how poorly we slept. This is nothing to do with the property, more the neighbours. There were several dogs in the area that barked during the day and night. This might not be an issue for some people, but it was for us. Alex really tried to help us with this and is hoping to resolve the issue for future guests, but ultimately, neither he nor the property owners can be responsible for how other people behave. We would absolutely stay at this house again if we knew the dogs only barked during the day and we could rest at night.
