Over all very happy
The property is lovely and cosy
The one thing that lets it down is you can constantly here the people upstairs moving around like a heard of elephants

Perfect for 5am risers
The accommodation was clean, with plenty of room, thru-out the property there is a wooden floor that is beautiful with a lovely in-layed detail creating a border effect that carried into every room, yip very nice indeed.
The heating & hot water was in good working order.
The living area was spacious, even with the dining table in there.
The kitchen was adequate, with everything we needed.
The bedroom was a lovely size, plenty room, maybe could have benefitted from having small storage units either side of the bed, to help store underwear, socks and the like. The bathroom was spacious with a lovely sized bath & sink, we liked the period look of the toilet & sink, particularly the taps, unfortunately the size of the shower tray/area was not that large. But the wooden floor, the original doors with furniture, the sanitary wear all helped to give this accommodation a very authentic look & feel.
Let me be clear, this is not the fault of whoever owns this lovey apartment, or maybe it is, we do not know, but, our biggest problem was the B&B above, to let you understand, this apartment is positioned directly below a Bed & Breakfast establishment, and obviously during the last or latest renovations to create this apartment, absolutely no sound proofing, deafening or acoustic barrier was ever introduced, if you treasure your rest & sleep, DO NOT RENT THIS APARTMENT. We were in Inverness competing in the wonderful Loch Ness Marathon, and the one thing we were needing and hoping for was a little place to help us prepare and then recover from this arduous physical challenge. But alas, this did not happen.
Just before we arrived at the apartment the owner/administrator sent us a few helpful emails to aid us move in, which were very much appreciated, and in one email we were actually asked to be respectful of the B&B establishment and their guests, I take it this request only went one way!!!!.
To let you further understand, we stayed for 3 days & nights, and the creaking, cracking & noise from the floorboards above was horrendous, our apartment was directly below the kitchen & dining room area of the B&B and we were woken at 5am every morning by chairs being moved, by the staff/owner obviously going back and forth from the kitchen to the dining area as they prepared breakfast for their guests, they obviously have no carpet nor underlay, which is obviously their prerogative, and to a lesser degree, the creaking, cracking & noise continued into the evening but with the television being on it wasn't so bad, but in the very wee hours of the morning, it was just horrendous. We were going to make contact with the owners, but felt it completely pointless to as absolutely nothing could be done about the movements of those above, so we just grinned and bared it.

Easy walk into the city. Nice to be by the river.
Great location. Fabulous bath.
The driveway is extremely narrow! Doable but you need confidence and not too big a car.
