Uncomfortable room, very poorly managed - best avoided!

The room was clean and modern, appearing very similar to the photos. The rooftop amenities were a bonus as were the local cafes and close train station.

The managing company MadeComfy is horrible. It took about 20 messages and 7 phone calls before I received my access information. MadeComfy use a lot of AI chatbots and standard responses so getting actual help is near impossible. This became more of a problem when we arrived and discovered that the air con and heating could not be controlled from within our room. We stayed in June when the nights were very cold and the heating simply was not available to turn on. The bedding was a hotel sheet and a thin Kmart quilt, which provided very little warmth. I notified MadeComfy immediately by phone, SMS and via booking.com and followed up with them multiple times every day of our stay. Mostly we did not even receive a response and when we did, they were "looking into it". Nothing was rectified. Most of the building is short stay accommodation and all rooms are linked to a unique fire system requiring you to push a big red button at the entry within 10 seconds if the alarm sounds a warning. Someone was cooking in another room on another floor and did not press their button in time, resulting in an ear piecing alarm and the entire building being evacuated outside into the rain until the fire department could attend. The permanent residents in the building advised me that this happens all the time. The entire experience was a hassle and a headache and I would encourage you to avoid the building and book elsewhere.
