Terrible and unsafe experience !

The full refund

We booked this place for our family, including children. On the day of arrival, we were told that our room had been changed. We then had to contact the property to find out how to collect the keys. We were initially given the keys to our original room, which was still occupied by another guest. We were therefore able to enter an occupied room. How could we have been given the keys to a room that was still occupied? We were then given the keys to the replacement room, which had one fewer bed, although we were told the price would remain the same. The most serious issue happened afterwards: the door to the new room could be opened from the outside whenever it was not locked from the inside. While we were inside the room, a stranger was therefore able to open the door and enter. Given that we were travelling with children, this was extremely alarming and we no longer felt safe staying there. There were also several people around the property whose presence and behaviour made us uncomfortable. We cannot say whether they were guests or visitors, so we do not want to make assumptions. The room was generally clean, although there was a crushed cigarette butt in a dirty drawer and a noticeable smell of beer. We left immediately because of the security issues. Thankfully, we received a full refund. I would strongly advise families to think twice before booking this property.

The experience can be improved

Walking distance to the city centre if you are keen to walk 20mins+.

Our stay was disappointing and fell well short of expectations. While the unit is advertised to sleep four, the space is really cramped, making it difficult for a family to move around comfortably. Cleanliness was a major concern: we discovered a significant accumulation of dirt and debris under the beds - when we merged them, indicating that the area had not been cleaned for a long time. Furthermore, the apartment triggered allergy and respiratory issues for all of us, likely due to hidden mould and excessive dust. To add to these issues, the amenities were poorly maintained: the internet connection was unstable (kids had to sitting in the corridor to get proper connection), the bathroom door handle was loose, and the cutlery provided was in presentable condition, etc etc. Due to these factors, the experience was so unpleasant that our children wanted to leave after only two days of our planned 17-day stay.

Money well spent

The location of the apartment and how clean the flat is. Also, easy communication with the management of the apartment on how to access the flat.

There is nothing to dislike about the apartment.

Bastante mejorable
