The location is perfect. Close to the old town and on a charming street next to a little canal. The owners are really nice, taking care and you feel welcomed there. Breakfast is good enough, tea is always there in the kitchen.
The shower smells a bit, but that's the case often in Uzbekistan.

The garden outside was lovely, the breakfast was really good, and the packed breakfast was just as nice. The location was also excellent! I felt safe as a solo female traveller, and the teenager helping out was kind.
During my stay, I only saw teenagers taking care of guests, with no adults around. A woman only appeared on my last day to ask me to give the hotel a 10/10 review.
The kitchen looked dirty, and the water bottle was too. The bedroom smelled of mould, and there was also an unpleasant smell in the bathroom.

I liked more or less everything in this family-run guest house from an entrance area and tastefully decorated hall to our room. Personnel was hospitable, breakfast was rich and tasty. Location is at short distance from the gate to Itchan-Kala, the heart of ancient Khiva. I would recommend the place for everyone planning a visit to Khiva.

De locatie was perfect, dichtbij de noord- en west-poort van de oude stad. En op twee minuten loopafstand van een leuk restaurantje als je een klein stukje naar links loopt vanaf het hotel, en het smalle voetgangersbruggetje neemt. De kamer zelf was brandschoon en ruim, het ontbijt was overvloedig, de mensen waren heel vriendelijk. De keuken mag je als gast ook gebruiken. En er was een heerlijk tuintje om te ontspannen onder de kweeperen.
De bedden zijn veel harder dan wat we in Europa gewend zijn.
