Disappointing last stop on our Hawai’i trip

The listing for this property was misleading. One of the main reasons we booked it was because it advertised onsite parking, but what they fail to mention is that the property has approximately 150 units and only around 50 parking spots. Parking was extremely frustrating — you either had to fight for a spot, rush back early to secure one, or pay elsewhere for parking. There are also additional “spots” in front of the property, but they are not actual parking spaces. It is essentially just an area off the side of the highway where people squeeze their cars, which felt unsafe. We also experienced issues with the door lock and had to spend time troubleshooting it with an employee. The staff member was helpful and did their best, but there appeared to be only one employee working, which made getting assistance difficult and time consuming. Apparently locking the door from the inside can interfere with the mechanism — something guests should really be informed about beforehand. Because this was never explained or highlighted to us during check-in, we unknowingly left the door unlocked our entire first night and only realized it the next day when we were leaving the unit, which was very concerning. Another major issue was cleanliness. Both the bathroom towels and beach towels smelled terrible on multiple occasions. The first night, I noticed the bathroom towel smelled dirty while using it. I contacted the property manager and they replaced it. Then, two days later after a snorkeling excursion on a Saturday night, the replacement towel also reeked when I tried to dry off. What made this worse was the lack of urgency. The office was closed from Saturday night until Monday morning at 8:30 AM. I followed up multiple times by text and phone and was eventually told we would receive a replacement “within two hours,” which is unacceptable considering the towels should have been properly cleaned in the first place.

comfortabel en compact appartement goede locatie, rustig gelegen, horeca en winkels op loopafstand prima zwembad, mooie en goed onderhouden tuin

airco maakt teveel lawaai om rustig te kunnen slapen de wasmachines werken slecht!! er zijn er te weinig voor het hele complex. bovendien moet je deze via een app bedienen wat uiteindelijk erg omslachtig is.
