A very disappointing and stressful stay

Only location and surrounding area

This was one of the most disappointing accommodation experiences I have had. The property was completely different from what I expected based on the listing and the facilities advertised. Several of the facilities mentioned in the listing were either not available at all or were not provided during my stay. The studio apartment was extremely dirty and had a very unpleasant, strong smell, particularly in the bathroom/washroom. The basic level of cleanliness was simply not acceptable. The washroom was especially unhygienic and uncomfortable to use. The air conditioning was also not working properly, which made the stay even more uncomfortable. Considering the amount paid for the accommodation, I expected at least basic cleanliness, functioning facilities and a comfortable room. What made the situation worse was that I had to change properties twice because the accommodation provided was not suitable. Having to pack, move and deal with another property during a trip was extremely inconvenient and stressful. Communication was another major issue. Responses from the property were extremely delayed, even when I was trying to resolve urgent problems with the accommodation. I should not have had to repeatedly follow up just to receive basic assistance. Overall, the facilities, cleanliness, maintenance and service were nowhere near the standard that was advertised. The experience was exhausting and frustrating, especially because I had already paid a significant amount for the stay. I would strongly recommend that future guests carefully verify the actual condition and facilities before booking.
