We felt that essential conditions promised in the listing were not provided, and future guests should carefully consider
Only the location and the view towards the Champs-Élysées were positive aspects of this stay.
1. Complicated and inconvenient access to the apartment. Although there is a main elevator at the building entrance, guests are directed through a confusing route involving corridors and stairs to reach a secondary service elevator. This requires climbing several floors before even accessing the lift. The setup creates the impression that the host avoids providing access to the main elevator, possibly to avoid additional building fees or service costs. As a result, access is inconvenient and particularly difficult when traveling with luggage or with persons with reduced mobility.
2. Apartment much smaller than advertised. When the sofa bed is opened, it occupies almost the entire living area.
3. The sofa bed in the living room is of very low quality and appears defective.
4. The balcony window facing the Champs-Élysées was damaged and not repaired. This created discomfort.
5. No hot water and no internet during the entire stay
The most serious issue was that throughout our entire stay we had no hot water and no working internet connection. We felt trapped in the apartment without realistic alternatives. No clear timeline for repair was provided; No official confirmation or documentation regarding the issue was shared; No representative came to inspect the situation; No alternative apartment was offered, even though the host manages multiple properties. The situation was particularly difficult because we were traveling with a person with disabilities who required for basic daily needs. Every time we asked for help, we received only general messages stating that the manager would be contacted, but no confirmation or action ever followed. When we requested compensation for these unacceptable living conditions, our request was refused without any reasonable explanation.
