The cottage was very comfortable and clean . It was very close to the main street .
You need to put mount pleasant close is off union street as google maps put the cottage on the grass in the middle of an island.

Key safe was empty on arrival but phone call to exceptional housekeeper soon sorted the problem
We liked the cottage very much, itv was beautifully clean, well equipped and everything was in excellent condition
It is being picky to criticise but a microwave would have been useful, and as neither of us is very mobile, a handrail or even a grab rail on the wall side of the stairs would have been an asset especially as no downstairs toilet

Very comfy house in a great location
Rooms and bathrooms were very nice
Kitchen was small but had most things you needed
5 min walk into town which was convenient
Back garden was nice and big
The main issue we had was the cleanliness of the lounge and blankets / throwers provided. They had clearly not been cleaned / been used by pet owners as my allergies flared up the second we entered the room, so much so we couldn’t use the lounge at all (we have a dog at home so very used to animals). The rest of the house was fine but the lounge was a clear issue.
Fridge was tiny, certainly not sufficient for 4 people
No grocery storage space in kitchen
The lockbox for the keys was also an absolute nightmare to close when leaving, it’s clearly not big enough to house the keys and it took us 10 min to try squash them in, in the pouring rain.
