horrible experience
The listings on Booking and other sites misrepresent the apartment by claiming it can host six people and by showing misleading photos of beds that do not exist in the property....
Upon entering the apartment, we discovered that there were only two sofa beds instead of the sleeping arrangement for six people that was advertised on Booking and other rental websites. One of the sofas could not be unfolded at all due to technical impossibility; the other was broken and fell apart when we tried to unfold it. We were concerned we might be accused of damaging it further, so we stopped.
Additional cleanliness issues made it clear the apartment had not been properly prepared for guests:
The refrigerator was leaking water.
The toilet paper was used up with only an empty roll left.
The soap dispenser had a torn label with human hair stuck to it.
These are basic hygiene and accommodation standards which were clearly not met.
We attempted to contact the NOVASOL emergency phone number provided, but no one answered our calls. We did not receive a call back that night or the next day. We have call records to prove this.
We were forced to find emergency accommodation in the middle of the night with a 7-month-old baby, driving 40 km to another hotel. Proof of payment for the hotel stay is attached.
