Disappointing. Would not recommend.

Nothing to like as the host gave our booking to someone else without any communication. We only found out when we contacted them the day of arrival to confirm the details of check in.

The host told us on the day of check in that they had extended the booking of the previous guest as they had a sick child. There was no prior communication of any issue before this. They offered us an apartment in a different area that we had no choice but to accept with such little notice. We did not like the area it was in, that there was washing hanging in the rooms, that there was no toilet paper in one of the bathrooms or that the only holder for the shower head was at knee height so there was no option for continuous running water which meant showering was a cold and uncomfortable experience. Another resident was entering the building as we were checking in and we were accused of having an extra guest and a bicycle neither of which was true. When we expressed our disappointment in the whole experience we were informed that you have to expect that things can go wrong when you book an apartment. We feel that a problem with an amenity or appliance that makes a property uninhabitable is very different to simply giving your booking to someone else. The total lack of communication is also concerning. Another review indicates a similar experience. If being able to rely on receiving the property you have selected is important to you we would suggest you book elsewhere.
