Not worth it

Location

This was, unfortunately, my first and last time booking through this platform. My booking was confirmed and paid for. However, just 2-3 hours later—while my family and I were already on the train heading to Paris—we were informed by the house owner of a "system error," and that the flat we rented was unavailable. We had specifically chosen the original flat for its location and the layout, which included two available sofa beds, crucial for our group. Being stressed, traveling late in the evening, and having two children with us, we felt pressured to accept their offer of a "similar" flat in a completely different area rather than risk canceling and re-booking entirely. The property was severely neglected: The flat was incredibly dusty. I was forced to use antibacterial wipes I brought with me to clean necessary surfaces, which is completely unacceptable when arriving at paid accommodation. The sofa was horribly dirty. Broken Appliances: The dishwasher was broken, and a major pan in the kitchen was so dirty we couldn't use it, significantly diminishing our ability to enjoy the kitchen facilities. To make matters worse, despite the replacement flat being listed at a price €10 per night cheaper than our original confirmed booking, no credit or refund for the price difference was issued to us. The entire experience—from the last-minute cancellation to the substandard, unhygienic accommodation and the failure to provide a refund—was highly unprofessional. I cannot recommend this service based on this ordeal. Mold issue in the bathroom!
