Perfect for a beach stay, and a short walk to the beautiful stone formations, La Scala Dei Turchi.

The location is a short walk to the beach, right out the front door. It looked like a swimming beach with a lifeguard stand, but I think the Sicilians think it's too cold to swim in early May. A pleasant restaurant on the beach is open only for lunch, but in the morning their door was open. We asked, and they served us coffee and croissants. La Scala Dei Turchi is about a 15 minute walk down the beach. Other apartments are apparently under construction, but this did not bother us. It is really an amazing spot, as the proprietor said, a paradise.

Not something we didn't like, but interesting - is that the area seems economically depressed, but shows so much potential. It is nearly impossible to find a room on the beach like this in the US, without spending a fortune.

The beach at your door step!

The location was fantastic , right on the beach not far from the Scala de T great little apartment for a couple or family of 4. Easy access to beach.

Finding the entrance from the main road was confusing. And we missed it twice. The instructions were not very clear . No resturants/cafe close by, so you must have a car to stay there and bring some groceries with you.
