The host does not appear to monitor the communication channel from this property. It seems to be managed by a bot. I sent several messages and queries and the only responses I ever got appeared to be timed, boilerplate emails. They were not available to answer any questions or clarify the terms of the stay.The bigger problem, which multiple other guests have mentioned, is that the navigation directions on the VRBO link are wrong - dangerously so. When you press the "get directions" button on the page for the app, it takes you down a badly unpaved road to the top of a 80 foot bluff that falls either into a ravine or a large pond. We found ourselves there at night, without cell service, piecing together clues of the true location from a message we had (luckily) screenshotted from the app before we lost service. Since the only place she provided her phone number was on the sign in front of the property, we could not contact her. We are not the first guests to mention this problem and she has still not responded to any of our concerns - or anything else, save those boilerplate responses. Otherwise, the property is fine, clean, well maintained. Much closer to a major road than I thought it was, but still mosty quiet between the trucks. Also close to some great trails and beautiful scenery. Be aware that there are additional fees for pets and insurance you will have to pay on top of whatever is quoted here. And warnings about more charges for pets if they find any hair.
