The Premier Inn is in an ideal location looking onto Edinburgh castle and about a 10-15 minute walk from Waverly train station. It is also about a 20 minute walk to High street.
The staff were very kind and helpful. The room was clean (was a little warm though).
The restaurant next door served a traditional English breakfast each morning. It was good and the staff were great.
We stayed 5 nights. Surrounded by restaurants and great views. Great hotel if looking for a place to stay.

We loved the location, across from the Castle and close to shops/restaurants. A ten minute walk to Old Town and the museums/train station. AC never worked and they gave me a fan. A little warm at times. Great room for families with a full bed and 2 twins.

The good: The location of this hotel is amazing. Everything that we wanted to do was within walking distance. There were tons of pubs and restaurants nearby and there was shopping within a short distance. The bus or tram from the airport runs down Princes Street which is very convenient.
Our room was clean and nicely appointed.
The NOT so good: this hotel is supposed to have breakfast and we pre paid for breakfast every day.
