Wonderful stay; loved the town & people of Oughterard and would love to return!

Spacious, well-equipped and beautiful home; accessible and friendly communication with host; private and quiet

nothing; might suggest a few directions in the notebook about heat/hot water and locking front door (user-error on our part and owner quickly put us to rights!)

Peaceful and updated home with everything you could possibly need!

This was a wonderful location, close to town yet private and peaceful. The host provided everything we could possibly need and more. We were so thankful for the light breakfast items provided, and the gift basket. It was such a lovely home. We would absolutely recommend to anyone needing to stay in this area.

Everything! There was nothing not to like!

Beyond exceptional vacation rental home. Perfect for our family of 6 for 3 nights to see Connemara!

House greatly exceeded our expectations. It looks large in the pictures, but until you walk in the door, you don't realize how large! House was decorated beautifully, and all rooms were very comfortable to be in. Loved the privacy. Enjoyed seeing the neighbors sheep and donkeys from the back yard and windows. Was not expecting all the yummy treats that were left for us the in kitchen and in the fridge - very nice touch! Loved that we could use multiple showers at once (that wasn't the case in the other 3 places we stayed at in Ireland!). Washer and dryer very helpful. Loved that it had a gas grill (not charcoal!). It is advertised as having 4 bathrooms, but it actually has 4.5! And they had amazing blackout shades in the bedrooms in addition to the curtains. Great location to visit Galway, Kylemore Abby and the rest of the Connemara region! We've traveled a LOT - and this is the nicest house we have ever stayed in! The owners have truly thought of everything.

Trying really hard to think of something that we didn't like! A few more cereal bowls would have been handy. A puzzle would have been nice. It really was a nice home that was well stocked. For those coming from the USA - there were no top sheets in any of the 4 rental homes we stayed in while in Ireland, so make sure to bring one if you feel you need it!

Het was een ruim huis in de buurt van de Connemara met alle nodige faciliteiten.

Het huis heeft nog nood aan enkele kleinere afwerking. Bij momenten rook je de geur van stookolie in de centrale trappenhal.
