A fantastic 11-night stay at Spagna Home, starting October 4th. The Via della Vite location is perfect, steps from the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain, 6 minutes from Metro Line A and 2 minutes from a taxi stand. For history lovers, you're staying on the ancient Campus Martius, the Field of Mars, and you're going to walk and climb like a Roman! For shoppers, every big-name store is right there, with Via Condotti and Via del Corso just around the corner. There's a public water fountain right outside the door, and garbage is easy to dispose of. The apartment was clean, comfortable and very secure, and it was really quiet and dark at night, which made for great sleep and is rare right in the centre. The shower is small, but I'm 5'10" and 200 lbs and it was fine for me. There were plenty of towels and a change of sheets ready for our stay. We were in good contact with the host throughout, though we never had any issues.

Fantastic location in the heart of the Rome shopping district. Apartment is in a safe and quiet neighborhood, given that the shops close at a reasonable hour. No loud bar traffic!
Host was incredibly helpful and welcoming, helping us carry our bags up 3 flights of stairs and ensure we knew how to operate everything in the home.
As with many homes in Rome, the apartment was very small, particularly the shower, and there is no elevator, but that is to no fault of the host.
