The Sandrose is a lovely, quaint spot, near the US embassy! The staff and management were incredibly welcoming and helpful. They helped me change currencies, and had my laundry ready. It is the perfect place to stay before and after a safari. The unexpected room upgrade made my stay very special.
I wish I could have stayed longer.

Generally, comfortable rooms and clearly a lot of effort has gone into the establishment.
There was no hot water during my stay, despite reporting the issue. I had to settle for lukewarm showers (at best) in winter. The coffee pods and the coffee machine in the room were not compatible. Overall, poor value for money - especially for those of us earning and paying in Namibian dollars.
