Gastvrijheid, heerlijk ontbijt. Een beetje van de route, maar de eigenaar bracht ons naar de Vesper voor pelgrims in het nabijgelegen mosteiro en haalde ons ook weer op!

the beautiful cozy home Ana and her son have created is incredible! it is about a mile off the camino from the town but a pretty walk along the road, two sheep live next door. we had the pilgrim dinner and it was amazing and they are very accommodating with a menu and her son even brought the dessert to our rooms after because we were full after we ate - so sweet. Amazing views of the mountains for sunrise and sunset! her son drove us back to town and picked up so we could go to the monastery for the nuns pilgrim blessing at 7 pm and had dinner once back at the house.

A little off the route, but a memorable experience!
Staying here feels more like being a guest in a family home than a traditional pilgrim hostel, as the family, children, and even the grandmother use the same facilities as the guests.
There is a small swimming pool with cold water, which is perfect for cooling off after a long day of walking. Meals are served on-site, giving pilgrims the chance to dine together, share stories, and enjoy a friendly atmosphere.
The property also offers transportation to the nearby cathedral for those who wish to attend Mass.
I don't think the staff were unfriendly, just a bit more reserved than what we experienced at many other places along the Camino. One thing to keep in mind is that the accommodation is located about 1.2 km uphill from the main route, which can feel like a long final stretch after a day of hiking.

The individual queen room was nice and very cute place with character.
The directions for curfew were not clear. Written in Spanish hidden behind door. Wasn't able to communicate in English anyone. Only place to eat is about a 20 minute walk. We had to get yelled at and lectured for coming in late and almost not let into the place late at night. Very very bad service. They need some code for people to let themselves in.
