About this house rental
A recent remodel to a beautiful open concept floor plan, you will walk just steps out the back door to Cedar Lake. Hate bugs? Imagine eating dinner and having drinks in the screened in porch while you watch the sun set over the lake. Take a relaxing soak in the always freshly filled hot tub. Lake Shore Park is 2 blocks up the street and includes a 1-mile walking trail, boat launch with a sand beach and gazebo overlooking the lake. We also have 2 kayaks,2 bicycles, a canoe, fire ring, laundry and a 52-inch television. Everything you will ever need, plus! The security of being in town with all the privacy of your own place and everything is included...no additional amenity charges! Nashua has The Dairy Treat has ice cream and sandwiches with new hours and there is a bar on Main Street and a Dollar General store . Charles City is 10 minutes drive North and has more shopping with a fun “Target” based surplus store, HyVee, Fareway, Theisens and Ace. The Pub on the Cedar restaurant, Salinas Bar(Excellent pizza and Sunday biscuits and gravy). Ionia is a little town to the east with the Hideaway Lounge that the reasonably priced food is raved about. Waverly is 20 minutes South and offers Walmart, HyVee, Goodwill and Trinkets and Togs (consignment shoppers!), Grumpies Roadhouse, Applebees, Sasquatch Jacks along with fast food options.

This is a very nice vacation home! We appreciated the screened in porch with a beautiful lake view. The bikes and kayaks were amenities we enjoyed as well!

The screened patio is truly bug-free, the hot tub is clean and super easy to use, and the house was very clean. The kids and my husband loved that they could fish RIGHT there. It didn't seem like the best spot to swim, but we took a quick drive to the other side of the lake so the kids could swim at the small beach we saw from the house. Which turned out to be a double-win because the park by the beach has a splash pad and playground. The coffee shop in town was great, too.

The lake view was perfect. The house was clean and had all amenities we needed. We plan to stay again!
