About this villa rental
We are in Umbria, but very close to Tuscany. Villa Gosparini is located there, overlooking Lake Trasimeno, surrounded by greenery, nature, silence, and peace. From its elevation of 700 meters above sea level, it overlooks not only the lake but also the entire valley surrounded by hills, creating a one-of-a-kind landscape.
It’s the ideal place for a relaxing getaway, but also an excellent starting point for exploring the countless cities of art, history, culture, and gastronomy that surround it.
It is a classic Umbrian/Tuscan farmhouse from the middle of the last century, completely renovated yet still retaining its authentic character, its colors, and its beautiful “Serena” stone.
The villa features 7 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. On the first floor, there are two lounge areas with spacious sofas, each featuring its own fireplace, as well as a TV and reading room, and finally, a large dining room. All these rooms open onto the enormous terrace, from which you can admire the entire valley, with the lake and its islands at its center. There is also a large, fully equipped kitchen-dining area.
From the first floor, you can reach the first floor, where you’ll find 5 spacious bedrooms, each with a window offering a direct view of the magnificent landscape; one of the 5 also has a lovely little balcony where you can admire stunning sunsets. Rounding out the sleeping area is a smaller bedroom with a French bed, also featuring its own private bathroom.
The seventh bedroom is on the first floor; it’s very spacious, with a sitting area and direct access to the terrace. It also has its own private bathroom.
A convenient internal staircase leads downstairs to a loggia with arches and comfortable seating for relaxation. But it’s just a few steps to the sun deck, fully equipped with umbrellas and lounge chairs, and then to the large, spacious pool, surrounded by stone pavers and a lawn, all in a panoramic setting.
Staying at Villa Gosparini will be an unforgettable experience, immersed in nature with all the comforts and in complete privacy.

The most outstanding aspect of the villa is the view; it's difficult to capture it's splendor with photos. The villa is spacious and nicely appointed. It's actually somewhat rustic, but comfortable. Spacious bedrooms and beautiful outdoor spaces. It's a bit out of the way, however, worth the climb for the quiet and view. Tuoro is close by and it has grocery stores, specialty food stores, and a couple of good restaurants. All of the Tresimeno lakefront towns nearby are excellent for a quick day visit. You won't be disappointed you chose this property.

The Villa presents even better than in the photos and the grounds are beautifully maintained. Each bedroom we accessed had an ensuite bathroom which just added to the luxe feel. My mature parents could have the one bedroom downstairs which was perfect, all other bedrooms are located upstairs. Worth mentioning the outdoor sun lounges have also been replaced (since the photos) and adds further to the resort feel. Would highly recommend!

Amazing property with wonderful view of Lake Trasimino , 7 bedroom, 8 bathrooms, swimming pool, outside dining, great kitchen and several living rooms all with air conditioning. Shower gel annd tissues etc all provided. Adequately close to supermarkets.
Sun beds were a bit tired/ broken.
