Right across the street from a great family beach, this condo sits in a nice neighborhood surrounded by multimillion dollar 3 story homes. Nice pool and deck area located in front of bldg #2. Partial ocean view from shared front balcony, this unit is located on second floor (no elevator) and has one reserved parking spot. Restaurants, fishing pier, para-sailing, mini-golf, bike/scooter/golf-cart rental all within walking distance. Cherry Grove is a family beach with most neighborhoods containing single family homes. If you also want some excitement and night-life, world famous Myrtle beach is a short drive south. Also nearby: Dixie Stampede, Alabama Theatre, Legends, dozens of golf courses, scores of restaurants. Wilmington,NC (1.5 hours), Charleston, SC (3 hours). Wonderful place to spend a vacation!

Condo was very clean and communication was excellent! The location was awesome and a very quiet neighborhood. Just one negative… the water /shower pressure is lacking and it was difficult to adjust the hot and cold water. But all in all, a great place and I would stay here again and recommend.

This condo unit is ideal for those who love the beach. It is directly across the street from beach access and in short walking distance from restaurants, ice cream, and a grocery store. The unit was clean and well-kept. The owner was an excellent communicator and was helpful. Be mindful that this listing is more ideal for 2 people. Although it can accommodate 4, it was a stretch navigating the room with my wife and 2 daughters. It didn’t bother us too much as we were not in room very often. Also, avoid driving a bigger vehicle if possible. You will have a designated parking spot, but parking is tight. For the price, cleanliness, beach accessibility, and owner communication, it can’t be beat!

Pros:Close to the beachGood communityVery affordable pricingBeach chairs and umbrellas availableFully stocked with supplies for cooking, cleaning, etc. Check in and out was extremely smooth Cons:Mattress extremely uncomfortable Pillows were very flatHave to bring all linensONE very small parking spot per roomRoom was not cleaned well (hair in shower and sink)Room is very outdated (shower, sink, toilet, couch, decor) Only TV options are satellite channels (no smart tv)Very popular street - lots of traffic and noiseOverall, my trip was enjoyable because most of my time was spent outside of the room. The first two nights were rough on the mattress, but after that I was too tired to even worry about where I was sleeping. Would come again, if the room was updated. The neighbors were a bit rude - used their storage container to block us off from accessing the other half of the condo (as well as the other staircase).
