You can indulge in the joys of fishing on foot or make walking and cycling tours. Cultural venues abound in this wonderful region (Bayeux Tapestry, castles ...) or indeed places of memory (American cemetery at Omaha beach). The seafood and fish are fresh from morning to Asnelles pool or Courseulles market (open every day of the year). The area is known for its fine cuisine.

We enjoyed our stay. The property was as described. We had an issue with ants that the host was quick to address. The property is quite unique and we love the historic aspect of this house. It would have been nice if there were fans available. I know it was an historic heat during our stay, and having the opportunity to have some air flow would have helped cool off the upstairs area. Certainly wouldn’t be an issue during other times of the year. Beautiful area and we would recommend.

Historic house. Unique experience. Linens need to be replaced. Better lighting in the kitchen. Better instructions for amenities. Couldn’t figure out how to operate oven.

We loved our stay at this villa in Ver Sur Mer - beautiful and lovingly restored. The backyard was incredible and so peaceful for homecooked dinner after a day of touring the WWII sites and beaches. David was a fabulous host and made our stay easy and comfortable. Merci!
