I let the host know that we would be traveling from Illinois driving straight through and that we would be arriving late around 8 to 9 pm. I can't tell you what a HUGE blessing it was that they already had the air conditioner running for us! This was a really nice touch and was so thoughtful of the host after us traveling all day in such high heat temperatures. Nothing feels better after being in a hot car for 14 hours when you reach your destination than to walk into a nice cool place to rest.Very nice home which is decorated so cute and it's in a super quiet area that is really convenient and just a few minutes from I35 with every place you could want to go shopping or dining.My Dad had a chance to meet the host and he said she was a very nice lady and she wanted to make sure we had everything we needed.This has been a very quiet and relaxing stay and I highly recommend any of the properties that the host offers.The home has everything you need for comfort, a nice covered patio and privacy fenced in yard for pets and way better than staying in a hotel in every way.Thank you!

The Trottage is very comfortable and clean. We enjoy staying there when we visit our children in Hickory Creek. The location is convenient for us. We will book this place again.

We stayed in a different Trottage last year around the same time, and had a similarly great experience. This year we had an unexpected health issue with a friend nearby and the owners and managers were able to accommodate our needs to extend our stay on short notice. We really love the location and the hosts are great!

This 2 bedroom cottage was perfect for our family of four. It looked just like the photos. It was clean, nicely decorated, spacious, quiet, and had all the things we needed for a comfortable stay. While we didn’t utilize the lake, the location was great for someone wanting to. Our host, Erika, was also friendly and quick to respond to any questions/issues. Overall, I would highly recommend staying here!
