About this apartment rental
Our apartment is located just a few steps (50m) from a rocky beach in Opatija (50m) and a short walk from Opatija city centre. You will love our huge and sunny terrace with a magnificent view at the sea.
Built in 1910, the house gives you a flavour of the charming Austrian-Hungarian epoch. The interior of our apartment was completely refurbished in fall 2018. It now offers a true deluxe experience with all details carefully chosen to make your stay in Opatija unforgettable.
The property provides 3 bedrooms, each equipped with a smart TV, so you have seamless access to your streaming account (e.g. Netflix). Two bathrooms with shower are at your disposal, one of which has a bath tub.
The living room (with smart TV) and the fully equipped kitchen both offer splendid views at the sea. The apartment is air-conditioned with free WiFi access. We warmly welcome business travellers, travel groups and families!
Several restaurants and cafes are located just a few steps from the apartment as well as a small supermarket, the post office and other stores. Fishing, diving and windsurfing opportunities can be found nearby. Rijeka Airport is located at a distance of 38 km from the property. Zagreb Airport can be reached in a 1.5-hour drive.

The apartment in Opatija was beautiful, comfortable, and cool (which was appreciated during a heat wave!). The space was perfect for our two families (8 total), providing both relaxing indoor and outdoor communal areas and ample space in the three rooms for privacy. Conveniently located by the sea, plenty of local restaurants, a small market, and close enough to walk to old town, we had a wonderful time exploring the beautiful sea front promenade, swimming in the refreshing Adriatic, and enjoying the local culture and cuisine. Mornings on the expansive deck with a coffee were a wonderful way to kick off the day. There was a fairly new restaurant and bar under the apartment and deck that is open late. On arrival, we were concerned that we would be kept awake by the music but we're pleasantly surprised at the peace and quiet of the apartment at night. Only a few minor things to plan for if you decide to book this rental: 1. The check-in process requires a decent amount of data entry and per person local tax payment through the rental company site and even after completion we never received email with entry instructions. The host company is very responsive and were kind enough to send the details in the message centrer but plan on completing early.2. The apartment didn't include some basic staples (soap in the showers, salt or pepper) so plan on on bringing your own (common for many European rentals but new to us).Overall, we would definitely recommend this rental.

We were only in the apartment for one day l and would loved to have stayed longer. Everything looks as it does in the pictures. Very close walk to the beach and many restaurants. We had some confusion assessing the apartment, the directions were vague, but after a bit we figured it out (with the help of another guest staying on the property).
