Tucked away in the heart of Deal's conservation area lies Rogues Cottage, a beautiful Grade II listed Georgian terrace house that has been lovingly restored to create a luxury holiday home. This secluded gem of a property not only has charming interiors with exceptional attention to detail, but also cosy corners and heaps of character and original features. The sitting room has a large inglenook fireplace with a wood burner. There is a well-equipped kitchen, breakfast station and cosy dining room, as well as handy downstairs cloakroom and toilet. Upstairs on the first and second floor are two spacious bedrooms and a stunning bathroom with copper bath and separate rainfall shower. Outside, a cosy courtyard offers a sheltered and peaceful space to relax after a day on the beach. Rogues Cottage is perfectly positioned just seconds from the lovely long seafront promenade and minutes from the bustling Deal High Street with its artisan food shops, cafés, pubs and restaurants.

Rogues cottage was a beautiful stay for our wedding weekend and we hope to return again. It was great we could bring our pug with us.
The house is styled and decorated exquisitely. There are some lovely details like tunnocks tea cakes and tea and coffee included. Plus things like dishwasher tablets and washing powder which make it feel homely.
The beds were very comfy and the bed linens high quality. The bathroom is a stand out feature with a beautiful, large shower and bath.
The location was fantastic - very central. We had no issues with parking as there are free bays very close by on the sea front.
A few more plates and pieces of cutlery would be welcomed, plus some fans for the warmer days.

A lovely, characterful cottage which is perfectly situated just minutes from the pier and from the centre of town. Despite its convenience, it is very quiet and has a cosy, private little courtyard. Free parking can be found a few minutes' walk away. Because of the age of the cottage, the stairs are steep and quite narrow and floorboards are creaky! Deal itself is a delightful place, with its many varied eateries and independent shops and there is lots to see and do within half and hour's drive: Ramsgate, Margate, Canterbury, Sandwich, Goodnestone house and gardens, Walmer, St Margaret's at Cliffe etc. Warmly recommended.

Our stay at Rogues Cottage in Deal was lovely. The cottage is in a great location, 2 minutes from the beach and a 5 minute walk to the High Street. The cottage facilities are excellent and the interior is beautiful. Somewhere I would book again.

We had a wonderful stay at Rogue Cottage, the location of the cottage is amazing - 30 seconds to the beach and to the town!
It was great that there was a baby cot, high chair and huge bucket of children’s toys provide for our little one but I do think there should be the option for stair gates. It is two very steep stair cases which made it pretty dangerous for our toddler.
There was also a smell of damp, we think there may be some water leaking when the shower is running.
It was a lovely touch that there was chocolates provided and a bottle of French brandy but no milk and no logs - both despite saying they would be provided in the printed out welcome pack.
Overall a wonderful stay and break but a few tweaks would make this place perfect!
