Drink your coffee (Keurig and Pods provided) each morning on the deck watching the wildlife waking up on the pond. Get up close and connect with nature on the rowboat or catch and release fishing (bring your own gear!).

Property was clean, pond is stocked with blue gill not may big fish, host replied quickly. Only tip is to bring shampoo none is provided.

We had a wonderful weekend stay at Edgewater Escape Cabin in Hocking Hills! The cabin itself was unique and full of character, and the surrounding scenery was absolutely stunning. The location couldn’t have been more perfect — close enough to all the main attractions yet peaceful and private enough to really relax.Everything was spotless, from the cozy living spaces to the hot tub, which was a great way to unwind after a day of hiking. The attention to cleanliness and detail really stood out.Our only small complaint was that the beds weren’t very comfortable, but everything else about the stay more than made up for it. Overall, we loved our time here and would definitely come back for another getaway! Thank you!

The home was set in a beautiful space. My college kids loved the pond and row boat. They also spent every evening in the hot tub. The loft area worked perfectly to give them their own space to chill and sleep. While this was terrific, and what I had hoped for, there were a few areas that need to be addressed.
Areas that should have been made clear, but were never mentioned.
1) There is only enough flatware for four people. We were supposed to have had five total people. If that had been the cases we would have been out of luck eating anything together for a meal.
2) There wasn't any mention of needing to run, empty, and monitor a dehumidifier. Although, it is completely obvious why one is needed, it would have been great to know that ahead of time. If the dehumidifier wasn't running then the smell of mold or mildew was evident especially in the bedroom on the main floor. The dehumidifier ran at 60-78% on humidity. It should be reading at 40% or lower. Another dehumidifier would be helpful..
