Cottage 7 is a charming stand-alone retreat offering the perfect combination of privacy, comfort, and relaxed resort living. This spacious two-bedroom, two-bathroom cottage also features a private den that serves as a third sleeping area, making it an excellent choice for families or groups looking for a little extra space during their Lake Michigan getaway.
The inviting living area is centered around a classic wood-burning fireplace, adding warmth, character, and a cozy atmosphere to the cottage. The comfortable living, dining, and kitchen spaces provide plenty of room to gather, relax, and enjoy time together after a day spent at the beach or pool.
One of Cottage 7’s most versatile features is the den/third bedroom, furnished with a queen-size sleeper sofa and doors that can be closed for added privacy. This thoughtful design creates a flexible additional sleeping space while still giving guests the comfort and separation of a private room.
The primary bedroom features a comfortable queen-size bed, while the second bedroom offers two twin beds. Combined with the queen-size sleeper sofa in the den/third bedroom, the cottage comfortably sleeps up to six guests. Two full bathrooms provide additional convenience for families and groups.
Central air conditioning keeps the cottage cool and comfortable throughout the warmer summer months. For added convenience during longer stays, a washer and dryer are located in the basement, easily accessed through an interior entrance within the cottage.
As a stand-alone cottage, Cottage 7 offers an added sense of privacy while still keeping guests close to all of Sleepy Hollow Beach Resort’s exceptional amenities. We are repeat guests every summer. We love Sleepy Hollow. You can’t beat the private beach and beach access. It’s such a great place for a family vacation. The kids enjoy their bikes, tennis and pickle ball courts, pool, ping pong and the grass area to play games. You can reserve a fire pit and they provide firewood, kids love making s’mores at sunset on the beach. Cottage number 7 is great. Our kids sleep in the room with 2 twin beds and we have the master. There’s also a den with a pull out couch. We love the front sitting area, it’s so peaceful and has great light. We also like kitchen table and banquet sitting area. We’ve had someGreat meals and card games at that table. Can’t wait for next year.

Nice retro beach resort. Something for everyone. Beautiful long beach, (many stairs if that's a problem.) Cottages were retro, but mostly in good repair. Our entrance key/lock could use a replacement, and we thought we were getting 3 bedrooms. The 3rd was a pull couch in the TV room. But it still worked for us. A very small detail was no good coffee cups....little tiny stemmed European things didn't cut it, lol ! Overall a nice stay and beautiful location.

We had such a great stay at the resort. We booked Cottage 7, it was the perfect mix of cozy and convenient. It had everything we needed-kitchen, comfy beds, and all the little touches that made it feel like home. Our kids loved being right by the water, running around outside, and spending time at the lake. It was so nice to have a place where they could play and explore while we could relax and enjoy the view. The resort itself felt peaceful but still family-friendly, which is exactly what we were looking for. If you’re looking for a getaway that’s relaxing but still has plenty to do with kids, I’d definitely recommend staying here. We left with full hearts, happy kids, and already talking about coming back!
