About this cottage rental
The Pig Garth is a one bedroom cottage with king size bed, with picture windows showing fabulous views, skylight with a blackout blind for a good nights sleep. There is a large walk in shower and toilet. The Kitchen is spacious and well equipped with a fan assisted oven, microwave oven a large fride and freezer, washer dryer for your use and a nespresso coffee machine for that morning pick up. The house is heated by underfloor heating for lovely warm cosy nights. There are large picture windows for taking in the views. There is a spacious patio area that wraps around to sides great for the dogs to have some freedom and a hot tub for you to relax in.

This was a secret special place to stay that I will regret revealing as the cottage is nestled in a farm yard but with a fantastic aspect of the Yorkshire rolling dales, not overlooked. If you want the perfect bolt hold while visiting the Area this is it. Close enough to some amazing places to see, yet out in the countryside. The cottage has every appliance and facility you could want to make your say comfortable and has welcome cakes and milk to get you started on your arrival. Even in the heat the stone cottage was cool, yet you could see it would be toasty in winter. Also the convenience of a charger to recharge the battery every night made our touring effortless without any stops to charge during the day. Plus a hot tub to relax in, in the evening. The host was fantastic with helpful advise on places to see. A real jewel.

This was our second visit and it doesn’t disappoint in any way, absolutely stunning views, perfect place to relax and destress. There is a great local pub and not far from there is fewston farm shop that has a lovely cafe where you get great food and a warm welcome. We didn’t want to leave but we definitely will return!

The property has been well done inside and the host was very friendly. We had the afternoon tea on arrival which was nice. The views are spectacular. However, the cleanliness of the cottage was well below what we're used to and what we expect from anywhere we choose to stay a
