About this apartment rental
Relax and unwind at our recently renovated beach view condo! This cozy beautifully decorated condo is right on the beach. This 420 sq ft. condo is perfect for a couple or a small family looking for a beach getaway. Beach Haven condo is located close to many attractions such as the Texas State Aquarium, USS Lexington, Whataburger Stadium, Hurricane Alley Waterpark, and many downtown restaurants.
Condo Space
This cozy newly renovated 1 bedroom/1 bathroom beach condo is a short 2-minute walk to the beach. It offers a new Queen size bed with a pillowtop mattress, (2) Twin sized bunk beds for the kiddos, and a full-sized sofa sleeper in the living room. The condo has a small kitchen with a stove, oven, microwave, and refrigerator/freezer. We provide all dishes, utensils, toaster, blender, and hand mixer. There are (2) televisions in the space (living and bedroom).
The complex has (2) private pools, barbecue grills on the property, and picnic tables. We are on the top floor of building #1 which is where the heated pool is located during winter months. There are coin and credit card operated washer/dryers located on each floor. We do provide free Wi-Fi, basic cable tv, and you will have access to Netflix. There is elevator access to reach Beach Haven condo.
***Upon check-in at the front office, you will be charged a non-refundable $15 check-in fee which will go towards parking, a gate access card, and wrist bands to use the pools and amenities. The complex is also currently under renovation. They are currently replacing all exterior siding and painting during the weekdays.

Cute and clean property for a quick beach getaway!

I was nervous to book due to renovations, but we were pleasantly surprised by how clean and well decorated this unit was. The view was amazing and everything was set up for my family to have a great visit. The bed in the bedroom was one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on. Thank God my dad was willing to take the couch and let me have the room. I slept like a baby; I even had to reach out and ask the owners for the purchasing details on it. Outside is rough right now and there were some other guests that were not cleaning up after their dogs and their main gate was having issues and we had to get a new card to open it every single time, but this unit was so comfy, clean, & cute that didn't even bother us. We would definitely book a stay there again. The only thing that could make it any better is more soap (we are big hand washers) and more towels & better beach towels. I can not use the same towel twice so that left me washing towels for a 3 day trip, but other than that, everything was wonderful. Owners are super kind and helpful, and unit is in a great location.

The interior of this condo had been renovated with good taste, very clean, decorated real nicely, everything worked well, air conditioning system kept rooms cool day and night. The beach view was definitely enjoyed. The young man who checked us in was very polite and informative. Also, the owner did a good job answering any questions regardless of time of day or night. I would rate the interior as EXCELLENT and well as the owner communicating with response. However, the exterior of the condo at Villa de Sol was definitely ruined down and had not been maintained in years. There were plywood panels nailed in areas, rotten flooring and railing on upper walkways. On our stairwell to get to third floor it was lit with trouble lights plugged into extension cords going from ground level to third floor. The parking lot we had to park in, which was not the covered one was not lit with any working lights. We did not use the elevator because we were afraid it would malfunction, as it looked questionable. That forced us (71 & 78 year old people) to carry our luggage and supplies up three flights of stairs. This property was listed as under renovation, but we saw no working crews other than a couple of painters. Exterior I would rate as poor and dangerous for guests.

The Condo inside was clean and well appointed. The bedroom tv should be upgraded to a normal sized tv. Outside left much to b desired. The property was under construction, the hallways were ripped up, stairs were dirty and a bit scary. The elevator was dirty and only worked on occasion. We should have been informed about the construction. The app to unlock the door was so annoying when we first arrived after a long day of travel. Think about switching to a changeable code. Every time we left we had to get out a phone to lock and when we got back each day we had to get out a phone to unlock the door. This proved to be excessively annoying.The host had the condo decorated very nicely, she provided an array of snacks. She had the bathroom well provided for. The inside space was welcoming and enjoyable.
