About this house rental
Unwind in the “Starboard” half of the house and enjoy your family vacation with up to 6 people in this spacious 80 m² home with a generous floor plan. Facing the sea (south-facing), you can relax both on your terrace with a beach chair and on your balcony, from which you can enjoy a magnificent view of the Fehmarn Sound and the “famous” Fehmarn Sound Bridge. Whether you’re a couple or traveling with your little “sailors”—here you’ll find peace and relaxation all year round with a view of the sea and the soothing sound of the waves.
There’s a private parking spot next to the house, and additional (paid) parking is available right across the street. Behind the house, a private sauna cabin awaits you exclusively.
In “Steuerbord,” we offer you something truly special in the master bedroom (double bed 160 x 200 cm): a freestanding bathtub with a view of the Fehmarn Sound. Here, you can let your thoughts wander and simply enjoy the moment...
The second bedroom (double bed, 160 x 200 cm) is also located upstairs, directly across the hall. The third bedroom, featuring a bunk bed (each bed 90 x 200 cm), is on the first floor.
The master bathroom upstairs features a shower, a double sink, and a toilet, while a second toilet is available on the first floor.
In the bathrooms and living areas, underfloor heating beneath the floorboards provides cozy warmth, and in the living room, you can enjoy the wood-burning stove. The open-concept kitchen-living room, furnished with original Arne Jacobsen lamps, gives the space a “hyggelig” atmosphere. “Steuerbord” is flooded with light thanks to the Danish wooden lattice windows, which let in plenty of natural light.
Eco-friendly paints and clay plaster were used throughout the house, ensuring that even those with allergies can relax here comfortably. For this reason, pets are not permitted in “Steuerbord.”
The use of historic building materials—such as old half-timbering and wooden floorboards—as well as custom pieces by artists and artisans from the North lend the house a unique charm. No detail was left to chance.
The modern and airy vintage-style interior combines coziness with high-quality design. A rattan seating area, comfortable armchairs, and vintage furniture in light tones create a welcoming atmosphere in a classic beach house style.
Bed linens and towels are included in your booking price, and the beds are already made upon your arrival, so you can start relaxing right away.
