Our Nice Stay: Great Location, Minor GripesOur recent 5-day vacation in Nice presented a blend of delightful advantages and a few areas for improvement. The GoodThe location was outstanding. We were just five minutes from the beach and stepped right into a car-free area with bakeries, restaurants, and shops. The host was responsive, and the air conditioning worked well in every room. Having a designated parking spot in a garage, a two-minute walk away, was a huge plus. We truly couldn't have asked for a better spot. The Not-So-GoodThe apartment didn't quite match the pictures. For the price, we expected a better overall finish quality. The mattresses weren't very comfortable, and the towels felt thin and worn, while the linens weren't the best. Also, the entrance isn't as pictured; you access it via a back fire escape door. This didn't bother us or affect our decision, but it's worth noting.ConclusionWe adjusted our expectations for the apartment's finishes and capitalized on the fantastic location and parking. These positives significantly enhanced our Nice vacation.
