This adorable, fully-private, well-appointed getaway is a real gem and one of our favorite VRBOs yet. The wonderful upstairs host, Annmarie, really provides all the amenities you could hope for...and more. You'll see...don't think twice, just book it. Her furniture and decor choices are so comfortable and welcoming. The kitchen has everything you need (we always mix home cooking with nights and days out) and a few cool extras as well. The well-maintained and beautiful lot is just a short walk from Erie Rest Beach and with a TRUE lake view from the fully furnished and string-lit porch as well as the comfy living room. We welcomed each day spending a quiet lake view morning enjoying a cup of coffee or tea. For those who want to venture into town, Annmarie's retreat is just a mile (we walked and also drove in) from the Port Stanley pier, restaurants, bars and shops as well. For those here to chill, it is also tucked away in a quiet neighborhood when you just want some serene, days or nights on the porch. We traveled from Southern California, stayed 6 nights here and attended a weekend wedding at Wildflower Farms (10 mins away). In a word, it was just "perfect". Thanks Annmarie!!

Beautiful place! The host had wonderful communication and was so kind and helpful. The place was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The beach was a short walk down the road. Unfortunately swimming was discouraged by the health department due to ecoli levels so we ended up swimming at little beach in town. Town was about a 20 min walk from the house. Overall it was a wonderful relaxing stay!!

Ideal location and proximity to beach, local attractions. The ambiance is wonderful, and the host absolutely fabulous. I've been to Port Stanley many times in the past, but didn't know about this beautiful part of town. We'll be back!
