Charming little cottage by your own swimming quarry. There's a great big kitchen (a must for Vinalhaven!), a fire pit out back, and the sounds of the sea and a skyful of stars to keep you company at night. We had a great time, and we hope we'll be back.

Itching to stay in a quirky, former granite quarry site? This is the place for you. We enjoyed swimming in the warmer waters of the quarry and having drinks by the “Bistro” building. The cottage has been built using reclaimed building materials, furnishings, and decorations, so this may not appeal to everyone, though we found it charming.
