About this cottage rental
Unique cottage nestled in the woods located along the Bourbon Trail. Featured on HGTV's OFFBEAT AMERICA for its design. Season 3, Episode 12. It is the perfect place to stay and enjoy the Bourbon Trail or the miles of nature trails in Bernheim Forest.
8 minutes to Jim Beam Distillery, 8 minutes to Bernheim Forest, 4 minutes to Four Roses Bourbon Warehouse and Bottling Tour, 12 minutes to the City of Bardstown, 30 minutes to Churchill Downs

No animals of any kind are permitted on the property. Due to the host’s family being severely allergic to animal hair and dander, the listing is strictly allergy-free. There are no exceptions to this rule, as any animal on the property poses a severe health hazard to the host’s family. If an animal is brought onto the property, you will not be permitted to check in. In addition, your reservation will be canceled and a cleaning fee will be imposed. Emotional Support Animals are strictly prohibited as well

The home is unique but very nice. Everything you need and more is there to make your stay memorable; even bug spray for sitting on the porch at night in the rocking chair. Although off a main road it is tucked back and very private and quiet. Host offered great places to eat at and visit.

I've stayed in this cabin before, mostly a weekend get away and it's awesome. The shower head isn't a low flow, feels like 20 gallons a second. The shower is amazing, the peace is amazing. Love this cabin!!!

Comfortable little cabin in the woods. Was very conveniently located to the Jim Beam distillery as well as Bernheim Forest which were areas that we were excited to visit. The cabin was very clean and well stocked. It has a unique and rustic charm which was one of the reasons why we booked it in the first place. It certainly was a uniquely built cabin and unlike any place we have stayed before.

It is only 30 minutes from Louisville, but it feels like it is way out in the city.
