About this house rental

A vacation at Casa Liguria means peace, nature, and plenty of space to relax and enjoy the wonderful scenery on the 4,500-square-meter property. With the Sonos sound system, you can unwind to your own music or music from the Internet and get your vacation started.

The house is located above Dolcedo and is just 7 km from the sea. In 15 minutes, you’ll be at Porto Maurizio Beach.

The tastefully furnished vacation home features furnishings of the highest quality. It sleeps 4 people and features 2 bathrooms, 1 spacious living room, and a fully equipped kitchen. A washing machine, dishwasher, and satellite TV are available in the house. You can drive right up to the house and park there. The property is partially fenced. There are several terrace areas with accompanying patio furniture (lounge chairs with cushions).

Arrival options: You can arrive by plane or by car. The airports in Nice (80 km away), Genoa, or Milan are nearby. There is a shuttle bus from Nice and Genoa, respectively, to Imperia. But you can also reach Imperia by train. By car, always head toward Ventimiglia to Imperia Ovest. You’ll receive detailed instructions when you make your reservation.

Imperia: Imperia is a typical Italian town where tourists are less common. Imperia is located by the sea and consists of two towns. Imperia consists of Oneglia and Porto Maurizio. Both towns are independent and therefore have their own markets, train stations, movie theaters, etc. Bus service runs from both towns to many mountain villages, such as Vasia, Dolcedo, etc. Porto Maurizio has a very beautiful historic center with arches, stairways, and views of the sea at every turn. There are many cafés and restaurants, a small marina, and sandy beaches. Oneglia is the place to go for shopping. Excellent grocery stores selling regional specialties can be found in the city center.

Places of interest: recommended day-trip destinations: Bussana Vecchia, the Toirano Caves (one of the largest in Europe), the botanical gardens at Villa Hanbury, Villa Rothschild, the marine aquarium in Genoa and Monte Carlo, the antique market in Nice, the museums in Nice, the Maritime Museum in Genoa or Albenga, Genoa’s Old Town, Cervo (the “fortress of chamber music”), the Olive Tree Museum in Imperia (Oneglia), whale-watching tours in Porto Maurizio, paragliding in Pietra Ligure, or the Mulini Martini paddock in Imperia with special courses for children, introductory courses, and tours through the Ligurian mountains; visit the award-winning La Rocca San Nicola winery with its Vermentino and Pigato wines.

great getaway spot among the olive orchards above Dolcedo town. large size vans would have a hard time directly accessing the property but wonderful setting nonetheless and everything you need in a 2 bedroom 2 bath plus great terraces

The house is beautifully designed with high quality material and comfortable for max 4 people. The terrace gives sun & shadow and awesome views. The hill is a bit isolated, it takes 15' by car to get to Porto Maurizio, which is nice small town with good access to the sea and a beautiful old center. Only drawbacks, access roads to the house are quite bumpy and difficult to navigate, you need a bit of courage. The high quality materials with strict instructions from the owner are a bit intimidating for a holiday home, I would not feel at ease with smaller children - lots of white, glass tables... But overall, great experience. To get to the house, follow instructions from the owner, Waze or Gps gets you lost on very narrow roads in the hills!

The house is absolutely enchanting, in the middle of an olive grove, with beautiful views and a wonderful and well-planned garden. The house is done up with such taste and everything is comfortable and well-organised and finished to a very high standard. We loved our time in the house and would be delighted to book in again.
