"La Bottega del Fabbro," renovated from a historic blacksmith’s shop, with a garden. Ground Floor: living room-kitchen-bathroom; 1st floor: double bedroom with bunk beds and bathroom. On the Way of St. Francis, 10 minutes from Greccio, Rieti, 35 minutes from Terminillo, 30 minutes from Terni, 80 km from Rome. Nearby: bars, restaurants, a supermarket, a local swimming pool, a bike path, Franciscan shrines, the Valle Santa, the Laghi L. Lungo and Ripasottile Nature Reserve, the Marmore Falls, and Lake Piediluco. Nestled between the wooded Sabini Mountains and the green countryside of the Rieti plain, at the foot of Mount Terminillo, through which the Velino River flows, a scenic bike path, and the Way of St. Francis through the natural reserves L. Lungo and Ripasottile Nature Reserve, in an area rich in natural hiking trails for trekking and mountain biking, ideal for any outdoor recreational and sporting activity. Winter excursions in the snow or activities in natural aquatic environments are also available.
