The fine-sand beach and the popular Bernstein Promenade are just a few minutes’ walk from Villa Maria. During the day, you can enjoy the refreshing waters of the Baltic Sea to your heart’s content or simply take a stroll along the beach. In the summer months, concerts and events take place at the Kurmuschel and on the Kurplatz near the Amber Promenade. The southeastern part of the island of Rügen offers a wide variety of biking and hiking trails through meadows, forests, and the Zicker Alps, all the way to the Greifswald Bodden.
