This place was fantastic and checked almost every box for us. I'll get the only real downside out of the way first: there's no air conditioning. We happened to visit during a couple of 90F days, but honestly, the house never felt uncomfortably hot. The bigger issue was that very few of the windows open, so it was difficult to get a good cross breeze. If more of the windows could be opened to let air circulate, the place would be just about perfect.The location is excellent, especially if you're planning to visit Red Rocks. You're a short drive from grocery stores, restaurants, and liquor stores, yet it still feels peaceful and secluded. We loved the wildlife—we saw several mule deer with newborn fawns, a mama turkey with nine poults, and two massive bull elk.The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed, and there were plenty of towels provided for both the bathrooms and the hot tub. Speaking of the hot tub, it was the perfect way to relax each evening.Overall, this was an outstanding place to stay, even during the heat of summer. We'd absolutely stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with easy access to Red Rocks and the surrounding area.
