This is a great little house in a quiet neighborhood. It's easy to get to if you're wary of driving on windy mountain roads or in icy conditions. The neighborhood is quiet enough that it's relaxing, but not so secluded that you feel like you're in the middle of nowhere. Very close to I40 and gas stations, fast food, etc. The fenced yard is huge. My dog loved it. The kitchen is well stocked with cookware, plates, utensils, zip locks, trash bags...all the great basics you need. The appliances are new and work great. The beds are so comfortable! Towlels/linens are all very nice and plenty provided. The wifi also works wonderfully. I brought teenagers with me, and we all streamed and scrolled just fine with no issues. The water pressure is excellent and the a/c works like a champ. There is a huge sun room in the back part of the house that overlooks the yard. Tons of dining space out there, plus a gas fireplace which I can imagine is wonderful in the fall months. But since we were there in July, it was great to have 2 ceiling fans out there as well. The only drawback is that there's no washer/dryer. Overall, this house is clean, safe, well-equipped, and functional. I would love to come back with my dog another time. Thanks for a great stay!

My sister and I brought our dogs for the weekend and we definitely chose the best house. Backyard was so nice and huge for the dogs to run around. The house is so pretty and nicely decorated. We were only a few minutes from downtown Black Mountain and restaurants so it was a great location as well. Highly recommend!

The house was updated and equipped with everything we needed. Accurate listing however while it was tidy, it didn’t seem clean. The floors were dirty with lots of previous dog hair and the fans above the bed had dust hanging all over. The master shower didn’t work well either.

Very nice place to stay. We spent a day in Black Mountain, a day in Ashville, and a day hiking. The large fenced in yard was perfect for our 2 dogs. Would definitely stay there again.
