About this chalet rental
The Tiddler is situated in a small development of holiday homes in the Lighthouse Field behind Hermanus Holidays in Winterton-on-Sea. Inside you'll find an open plan living area, electric fire and Smart TV. There's a dining area which seats four, and a well equipped kitchen with hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. The chalet is decorated tastefully throughout.
There are two comfortable bedrooms. The first has a standard double bed and the second bedroom has two 3' single beds making it a perfect family getaway. The bathroom has a large walk in shower, washbasin and WC. Two dogs are welcome at The Tiddler but please note that the grounds are not enclosed. Dogs are very welcome throughout the property. If they join you on the furniture we do ask that you use the throws provided. The Tiddler has wifi.
Guests at The Tiddler have access to the facilities at Hermanus*, including the outdoor heated swimming pool which is open from late May to early September. It is right next to the childrens' play area and surrounded by a brick wall to keep out the coastal breeze. There is a launderette and plenty of parking on site. The Coach & Horses bar & lounge is at the front of the main Hermanus building with amazing sea views, and is open for drinks and food throughout the week.

Lovely place with some nice touches, including welcome pack of local cookies, milk, bread and marmalade. Dog provisions were excellent too, biscuits, bowls and blankets. Plenty of towels and bedding for us if we needed it too!
Great location a short walk to a dog friendly beach, where we saw seals on most days. Other wildlife too such as muntjack deer just outside the cottage, grasshoppers and lots of different birds and butterflies.
Access to the pool and having wifi in the cottage was a welcome bonus too.
Short drive to Great Yarmouth and Hemsby for traditional seaside activities which gave us options.

This was our third stay at Tiddler. As before, accommodation was clean, cosy, a perfect base for the beach. Our dog gives it 5 stars every time and we can't help but agree with him.

when you walk through the door we feel at home it has everything you need and is lovely and clean
Winterton has a great pub couple of cafes and shop and great area to explore Norfolk

Tiddlers was on a peaceful part of site, a small deer came to visit close by early morning and dusk.Not too far from clubhouse and amenities in village. The local pub in village has a neglected feel, beer very dear, but most places are dog friendly which is great for dog lovers.Weather was wet wet wet. Overall Winterton on sea offers walks on the sand dunes, dogs allowed to roam on sea shore with responsible dog owners, fish and chips, post office,general store,tea room. Very pretty.
