About this house rental
If you are looking for a spacious, beautiful home in a perfect location, your search is over. Property sits on Lewis Creek and could be used as a destination retreat. This amazing home was built in 2008 and has all the comfort and upscale features your family needs as well as the rustic charm you'd expect in a mountain setting. The home is lofted, feels like a tree house. In less than 10 minutes you can be in either Oakhurst or Bass Lake. We're 14 miles from the southern entrance to Yosemite.
We do offer the ability to charge your EV!!! We installed a 220 plug and have the Tesla adapter but you’ll need to bring the converter and the cable. If you have an alternate electronic vehicle, I posted a picture of the 220 plug type to make sure you have the correct adapter. Additionally, we have the plug in the garage, which is normally for owners only. Upon receipt of acknowledgment, I'll give you to code to the garage which has the plug & Tesla charging adapter.

If you're thinking about it for Yosemite, book it! Great spot for in and out of the park, convenient to Oakhurst. Far exceeded expectations.

First off, let me say that all these other reviews stating that this was a 10/10 VRBO home must have been there on good days. Our visit was not the same.Pros 1. Good stay-over location on the way up to Yosemite2. Appliances in very good condition3. Kitchen & master bath faucets & handles upgraded4. Good water pressure5. View of creek in back of homeOverall, a pretty nice home.Cons1. Stairs from driveway to front door are a trip hazard. One board was bowed up and could easily be tripped over. A 2nd one was getting bad also. They had a slight slant from one side to the other on one level. No handrails for the elevation difference.2. Mold in master shower floor. Owner wrote it off as a caulking stain. I disagree with her.3. One of the downstairs bedrooms wreaked of body odor.4. Master bathroom and shower has a cobblestone type floor. Having nerve damage in my feet made It painful to walk on. There are throw rugs on most of it which shows that this is an issue. Taking a shower was not fun at all.5. Windows in the kitchen/living room were dirty. One window had cobwebs on the outside. Dead flies on the inside window sill and inside the window track.6. Rug in living room needs shampooing.7. Multiple ceiling lights did not work in the kitchen & living room.8. Outside patio furniture and sitting area not clean or pleasant to use.9. VRBO list the property as having garage access. Not true.
