About this apartment rental
Located in the historic pedestrian center of Poreč, at the corner of Strada Grande Decumanus and Cardo Maximus, it overlooks the main Piazza dei Signori and is nestled among the city’s oldest noble residences. Patrician palaces, ancient Gothic houses, and stone portals are what you’ll see when you look out the windows. It is located across from the Palazzo Zuccato art gallery and just a few meters from the Parentino Civic Museum in Palazzo Sinic, which houses Roman and early Christian archaeological artifacts. The medieval Romanesque House is just a few meters away in Piazza dei Signori; the Eufrasian Basilica is 100 meters away, and the waterfront is also 100 meters away. All the city’s bars, restaurants, and shops are right on your doorstep.
At the pier, you can take a boat to reach the Island of St. Nicholas in 5 minutes, with its white-sand beaches featuring bars and a restaurant.
Many other bays and beaches can be reached on foot, by bike, or by train along the coastal bike paths, nestled in the Istrian pine forest. You can rent bicycles or bring your own from home and store them safely in the building’s entrance hall. You can park your car in the nearby market parking lot, 500 meters from the house, with a free parking pass.

Fabulous location right in the heart of Porec. The apartment was updated and open and clean. We have a great stay. Only recommendation would be a bit more check in and out detail (we thought the first level you walked up to was the second floor and a map or directions to the trash would have been helpful). Would definitely reccomend this listing!

The location was perfect, in the heart of the center and in the middle of great restaurants and gelato places. The apartment itself was very modern and beautiful, wonderful kitchen and great AC. The host was also easy to connect with. Two things to note:
1. The area of the apartment is pedestrian only so that means walking with your bags when you arrive and depart. I think the easiest route is along the water. Also the apartment is located on the dock where the ferry to venice can be taken easily.
2. There were a few things not as listed. The main was there was only 1 bathroom not 2, which was a big reason for selecting this spot. It's manageable but would have been nice to know. And also description said access to a hot tub which was not true. And it would have been good to know in advance the unit is on the 2nd floor with no elevators, which was only a problem for carrying luggage.
Either way if I return next year this is the only place I would want to stay.
