This charming 1920 cottage has been restored along with the its neighboring cottages making it a close knit community. Often neighbors gather on each others porches or walk downtown for coffee, dinner, or shopping. Our popular Downtown is only three blocks away. This cottage is tastefully decorated by Nan Myers, who is the owner of Firefly, which has been lighting up Downtown Thomasville, GA. for over twenty years. Hoodwood is a little tongue in cheek as the decor gives a subtle nod to Robin Hood and to Mr. Rogers all at the same time. The point being that we want you to feel apart of our neighborhood and apart of Thomasville, GA. during your stay. Inside we have created a cottage that is cozy, comfortable and good-looking. Each bedroom has high end sheets, blankets, and comforters encouraging a restful night. We have two queens and a pair of twins. Kitchen is fully stocked including our favorite coffee from Crested Butte, Colorado. We encourage you to pick up cheeses from Sweetgrass Dairy, yummy casseroles from Relish ( we love the Wild game), bagels and smears from Empire Bagel.
