About this cottage rental
Charming little house ideally designed for a couple. Ground floor: living room, lounge (sofa, fireplace, etc.) and fully equipped kitchen (these three rooms are adjoining), bedroom (double bed, shower room), WC. 5.2 m² veranda with sitting area. Cot available. Free Wi-Fi. Electric heating (extra: €60/week) and wood heating (extra). Courtyard at the front, small garden at the rear (private and enclosed). Bicycle storage. Please note: no barbecue but a griddle. Firewood: €60/stere. Non-smoking property. This is a charming and very comfortable haven for a couple wishing to explore the treasures of the Touraine region. The interior, bright, cheerful, and beautifully decorated, is also functional and truly pleasant for a relaxing holiday. Perfectly peaceful in a residential area on the banks of the Indre River, you'll feel like you're in the countryside, yet only 20 minutes from the center of Tours! Most of the Loire Valley châteaux are also easily accessible. Among them, Azay-le-Rideau, Villandry, Chenonceau, and Amboise are all within a 30-minute drive. Finally, several vineyards in the region will undoubtedly appeal to you during your stay: Montlouis and Vouvray are 35-40 minutes away, and a little further afield, Chinon, Bourgueil, and Saint-Nicolas. In the village or nearby, you'll find: a cinema, a riverside café, a restaurant, a fishing spot, a playground, a green space, tennis courts, and a skate park.
