About this house rental
Beautiful family house of recent construction, surrounded by a beautiful flowered garden.
We are close to the beach of Goulien in a quiet hamlet. From the first floor and the small balcony you enjoy a sea view.
Ideal for a family holiday!
The house is in a natural area in a small hamlet 2 km from the beach of Goulien/Kersiguénou by car and 500 m from the greenway Crozon-Camaret.La house is very quiet, at night you hear the surf.
It is a recent house, completely renovated with new driveway to the garage, natural stone terrace, new furniture etc. in 2021/2022.
You have a large sunny terrace, protected with windscreens and surrounded by a flowery and enclosed garden.
It is a low-energy house, equipped with a heat pump. Only green energy is used.
On the first floor you find the living room, which opens onto a large terrace and the open kitchen.
From the kitchen there is access to a pantry (washing machine, dryer). The kitchen is very well occupied (microwave, oven, dishwasher etc., Philips Senseo coffee machine with pods, filter coffee maker). Next to the living room you have a bedroom with a bathroom (shower, sink), separate toilet, and a bed at 1.40 by 2.00m.
Upstairs there are two double bedrooms (1.60 by 2.00 and 1.80 by 2.00 m) and a bedroom with a bed (90 by 2.00 m) with a small balcony. From the balcony and the two bedrooms, facing south-west, you have a small sea view: view of the cove of Dinan and the castle of Dinan. There is also a large shared bathroom with bath, two vases and toilet.
You have a shed in the garden, where there is the furniture for the garden furniture, the charcoal barbecue and two bodyboards.
We have installed three small desks in three bedrooms. The internet connection is established via a fiber optic cable. (1000 MB speed).
The house is ideal for four people, but can accommodate up to six people (three-star furnished tourist accommodation).
Please note that bed linen is not provided, but we can offer it for rent if necessary, payable on site.
Linen for a double bed: 20€
Linen for a small bed: 15€
Towels (one small and one large): €5/person
Please note: if you take your laundry for the large beds, you will need a large fitted sheet and two small duvet covers and two pillowcases.
End of stay cleaning is optional at 70€

The house is very pleasant and well-equipped. There was a little ocean view, and this was not overstated in the description. We found some discrepancies, however, between the description and the actual terms of the rental. For instance, there was an extra fee for towels and linens, but we could find no mention of that in the VRBO description. There was also an extra charge for cleaning, and we could find no mention of that in the description; in my experience, this is usually included up front in the fees. (though we were given the option of doing a thorough cleaning ourselves.) Even with the additional charges, the price for the house was quite reasonable. Also, the description we had access to indicated that there were smart tvs in the bedrooms. There are not (this didn't matter to us; there's a big tv in the living area.) But when I pointed this out to the agent upon our departure, she was quite surprised. It seemed like there may have been some miscommunication between the owner and the agent that could be sorted out. We had a very enjoyable stay.
